The Derrick DE-1000 Gear Box Driven Centrifuge is fully installed on a rugged portable skid and is driven up to 4000 rpm by a 50 horsepower motor via a fluid coupling for low amp, soft start. The rotating assembly is coupled to a gear box, fitted complete with a spring loaded torque out assembly with manual reset. All stop/start buttons and manual switches are within easy reach when standing on the skid platform.

For installation, just supply power to the lower of the two explosion protected electrical boxes via a 2 inch electrical conduit connection, then run wiring from the same box to the feed pump via a 1 inch electrical conduit connection.

The rotating assembly is raised on transportation brackets to protect the bearings during shipping.
